Welcome to Company of Poets

Writing poems can be a solitary activity. From first scribbled draft to something resembling a finished piece can involve a lot of work.

Company of Poets was set up to help with this aspect of the process; providing a forum to share thoughts on first/second/third drafts with other poets.

These often offer fascinating insights on how other people view our work - a kind of ‘editorial eye’ before a poem actually lands on an editor’s desk, or is performed to an audience, for real.

We are lucky to have award winning poets, poetry publishers and promoters among our members.
